program started to train mathematics teacher candidates in 2016 and there are
62 students studying in the department. The main purpose of the program is to
educate mathematics teachers with self-confidence, an outgoing personality, and
an interest in helping their students to understand mathematics in a meaningful
way. In addition, the program also aims to train teachers who have confidence
in using technology; problem-solving skills; attention to human rights,
democracy, and ethics. Training time is 8 semesters in 4 academic years.
